If you're serious about mystery shopping, you're going to be applying to a lot of mystery shopping companies. This can be very time consuming -- and is often the most frustrating part of becoming a mystery shopper. That's why it's important to keep track of your applications -- to record which companies you've applied to and when. So that you don't waste your reapplying to mystery shopping companies!

For each company I apply to, I record:

Date of Application
Website URL
Whether or not the application process is 100% complete
Whether or not they've gotten back to me or offered me any jobs.
Keeping these records really pays off in the long run -- saving you a lot of time, and making things much easier to work with.

How to Fill Out Forms Fast
Each mystery shopping application requires basically the same information. There's a lot of overlap -- and you can waste a lot of time typing the same information over and over. Fortunately, there are programs that will help you with this. Roboform (roboform.com) is a good one, but there are plenty others available.

Automatic form filling is a must if you're going to apply to a lot of mystery shopping companies.
